Hi my name is Corey Hardin

 

I always loved making artwork as a child and kept at it into my young adult years. I graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY in 2002.  

I married the love of my life, and we have 4 awesome kids together. I made the necessary sacrifices you make when you "grow up." I got a job as a Union Carpenter in NJ, where I currently work.  Consequently, I put my art supplies away for many years. 

As my children are getting older, I hear myself teaching them to, "follow their dreams. If they love to do something and their heart is in it, they will do great things." I began to realize I never gave myself the same opportunity, and if I was going to teach them something, I'd better put my money where my mouth is and show them it is possible. 

It may seem a little ironic that my new inspiration and subject matter has been my silly kids, but it's been so much fun having them pose for the photos from which I make these imaginative paintings. 

My hope is to continue to share my imaginative vision with other families, to create and sell these paintings and bring the magic into their homes.
